Not only does this place ooze charm and have such a tangible, warm energy - it is also so conveniently located!  Walk to Inner Kom surf spot or slipway, run along the footpath to the lighthouse or walk across to Kom Surf Shop for a coffee - the options are endless, you are literally right there!  Owned by a lovely, passionate family who have spent hours restoring this little gem to its current charming state, this is a house full of old and new, an eclectic mix that really works! Oh and don't let me forget to mention the gorgeous little succulent garden with a paw paw tree that keeps on giving!

The front stoep, large pool area, wooden floors, country style kitchen, large rattan hanging light pendants, and wonderful smell of thatch are but a few of the endearing qualities that make this place the perfect social hub.

Its decor and casual feel create the perfect holiday atmosphere for families to come together. There's accommodation for many - two families perhaps - with a brand new, trendy little outside cottage, ideal for granny and grandpa. 

 

I know if I was looking to enjoy Kommetjie like a local, and with my children, this spot would be on my list of 'must stays'!
